Cameron Wake has changed roles for the Miami Dolphins.

After spending his first three season in the NFL as a pass rushing outside linebacker in a 3-4 scheme, Wake is being moved up and in a bit, becoming a 4-3 defensive end.
It appears he's also moving to the right side, where he'll face the opposition's left tackle on a regular basis.
"I'm going back to my roots, where I started out my football career," Cameron Wake said. "I'm probably still going to be bouncing around a little bit, doing whatever I can to help the football team."
Wake's referring to when he might move to left end on passing downs, which allows rookie Olivier Vernon, the team's third-round pick, to come on the field as a pass rushing specialist in the nickel package.
To make that scheme work the Dolphins would likely move Jared Odrick, the projected starting left end, inside to defensive tackle while Wake handles the left end spot.
