If you guys wanna see a glimpse of how we might attack NE this year. Check out NFL Replay right now. SD vs NE in the playoffs.

Now that Saban is gone, do you think we're ganna try to steal some of Brady's calls again this year? That would be awesome.

First play, 10 yard run by LT... Announcer said the Chargers (Cam) loves to put 2 TEs on one side and run inbetween the two. I have a hard time believe that Peele and Martin will beable to do what Gates and Monamoneula can tho.

looks like he also likes the FB swing pass out of the backfield

at lot of comeback routes...
also looks like the reverse is part of the playbook

I cannot wait to see Mauia on a FB swing pass from the backfield. A full head of steam into the defensive backfield, and he'll be "Knockin' fools out!"

I can just imagine which DB's want to tackle THAT. It will certainly be fun to watch.

Yes it would be very fun to watch. Mauia is one big dude and I'm sure it would a gang tackle to bring him down.

Bring on the Pain!!!! I expect alot of safeties to be dropping some Cleveland Browns in their pants when they see Mauia turn the corner with a full head of steam and heading straight at them

yeaaa thats right! i dunno if he'll make it on the field tho for at least 2 years while schlessinger is there.

I'm more worried about our defensive strategy this year against the Patsies...

I think the strategy is pretty simple. On defense, attack and hit everything that moves as hard as you can all day long. Press the receivers, let's throw Moss and Stallworth off their routes and try to give our pass rush an extra second to get to Brady. Use the 3-4 most of the day sending a couple of linebackers on each play (usually Taylor and Porter.) Let's keep Zach spying over the middle waiting for Welker on the outlet, that we can also stay home on draws and delays to swallow up the ball carrier. So blitz the edge, spy the MLB, and try to bait Brady into making dumb throws.

On offense, we have to run the ball, that goes without saying. Just give Ronnie the rock and go straight at them. Make sure we test the edge and get those enormous linemen tired. Vince Wilfork and Ty Warren are big fellas and we have to get them on the move. If Samuel is gone, Chambers all day, if he's there, spread the ball around. Get the ball in Ginn's hands and let him try to make plays. Their secondary is their weak spot on the defense IMO so we're going to have to make plays through the air. Move the chains, 10 yards at a time and just when they are getting comfortable coming up making tackles for short gains, hit Ginn and Chambers on the fly.

yes i can see it now, Mauia huffin and puffing his way towards the line of scrimage, BAm! Db lights up his legs and the mighty juggernaut falls for a loss of 1 yard!

you're a bit too excited.. Schelsigner is gonna be way better. and play way more.

i would love for someone to really watch that game in the second half to see how cam coached that offense,,,i'am still perplexed as to why he did'nt involve lt a little more,,,now i understand if it was scheme that dictated LT being more of a decoy but i would really like to know if cam had anything to do with that choke job

I'd guess it has more to do with Marty.
