what is the least anyone is willing to let JT go for. i would like to see at least a mid to early second or a late second with later picks. if the best we get is a 3rd, already offered to us, than i think that we keep jt away from that trade and trade him strait up for a lito shepard or just keep him. i am not as big of a jt guy as some of you guys are, and i would give no more than a late 2nd for him if i was any FO in the leauge, becuase he played bad in the beginning of last season. wat do u think we get for him, realisticly. my guess now would be 45% trade for 3rd and additional 45 % we keep him and 10 % higher than a 3rd.

Worst case scenario I would accept is an early to mid third rounder. I think a second and fourth or fifth would be equal value. Best case scenario is someone trades a late first or early second for the Black Mambo.

A 2nd at the very least, otherwise he is worth more to keep.

Actually , Jaren Allen who led the NFL is sacks in last year is going to set JT value. He will not command the same value as allen who is in his prime and has a few dorminant years left in him.

if the vikings get him for 2nd i do not think any team will touch JT at 34 yr old with 4th or above.

Jared Allen will go for a lot more than a 2nd. The vikes already offered a 1st,2nd and 3rd if im not mistaken

i thought a 1st and second this year and a pick that could be as high as 1st next seaon. if anyhting that raises his stock. expeeking of eaising his stock anyone remember pace, he wasnt DPOY and got a huge payday form the jet-ros

I did not see that post.

but i do not hink JT value can be got from a DE who led the NFL is sacks and is 26 yr old.

alos, value = the team that pays. You can want a 1st rd pick but if he is neeed to pushed and the team out their offering a 4th you either take it or keep him.

JT is a crucial part of our team, and one year removed from a DMVP season. You don't get rid of JT for anything less than a 2nd and a 4th, or at the very least a 2nd and a conditional 4th.

We wont get a 1st for him, but if we don't get a packaged 2nd, it's well worth our while to keep him.

"This entire mountain is pure snow! Do you realize the street value of this mountain?"

(Sorry. Couldn't resist.)

Never said a 1st, a 2nd will be fine.

JT should not be let go for anything less then a second. The problem is his street value right now is a Third. Now I posted an article in which I think that the losers of the Jared Allen trade will go after JT. A team like Jacksonville might up there offer to a second. Remember there are rumors of JT to the Eagles I think if the Eagles cant pick up Alllen they will make a strong run at JT.

No way in hello we get a 1st for JT, and I seriously doubt we'd get a 2nd. A 3rd is a fair possibility, and personally I'd let him go for that (based on his age and this teams time line to being a realistic playoff team --- best case in 2-3 seasons).

We need YOUTH and lots of it --- and JT would be best on a team ready to strike that could use a rush specialist for big-plays over the next few seasons.
