there is the Actual formula for Strength of schedule, and then there is people like me and you that can look at THE SCHEDULE and say, That's a tough one". Meaning we can take into account the things the formula for SOS does not. Miami has a hard year in my opinion. Hopefully some teams I think are going to be pretty good are not so good against us.

The real SOS is determined after the season is over....looking back to see how tough were the games a team played. Before the season is hogwash. One team very good one year can be in the dumps the next.

Teams play 2 games a year that are influenced by strength of schedule. The rest of the games are predetermined years in advance.

our schedule is easier than it looks...... take every division we play against, and seperate them into TWO groups :

1- The tougher teams in the division, (distance to travel and tough stadiums like in Mile High and Arrowhead are factors as well)

and....

2- The teams you'd prefer to hafta travel to, ( the weaker teams who may be closer to S. Florida and may also play in warm climates )

For example... we play the AFC West
We don't hafta go to Arrowhead to play the Chiefs or Mile High to play the Broncos, they come to us. We go to California to play the Chargers, and the Raiders.

NFC South: I believe the 2 dome teams, St. Louis and Atlanta, come to us. We would go to Carolina, and I know we go just outside FL. to New Orleans. I might be wrong about this one... We might go to Atlanta instead of Carolina, not positive.

My point is, the teams we play are difficult, but when and where we play them is all set up in our favor. We WE'RE 4 - 12 last year.
