So I'm still of the opinion that prseason results, and to a certain extent, play, doesn't mean a whole lot.
[In Stephen A. Smith voice] However....
Last year the 1st unit offense was looking good in preseason. Some of us were excited. And I recall one older poster being upset that the 2nd and 3rd team units looked piss poor and basically gave up.....saying it was an indictment against the coaching and whole team. Myself and others scoffed, dismissing the theory. But the season came, and the result mirrored this gentleman's theory.
Well last night, the team finished strong after a slow start. We have had issues finishing strong for a long time. Even in the magical Houston game, poor finish.
So just maybe, this may point to a change with the attitude of the team on this new regime.
