Is it me, or does Chad Henne have one of the strongest arms you have EVER SEEN?

Chad hasn't really had an opportunity to sling the ball as far as he can down the field (other than the Ted Ginn TD when he was trying to hit him in stride), but as far as getting the ball into tight spots.......he has little competition.

I think it was a 3rd and 4 and Davone Bess ran a slant route and Chad threw right into his hands, but it was thrown so hard that it bounced right off! And Davone has great hands! I don't know, but Chad Henne has a special arm.

Now we need to find some recievers that can catch his 100 mph fastballs.....

The one, and only, Dan Marino.

There was one pass today to Fasano that he really lit it up. He does have a nice arm especially compared to Pennington now I see what we were missing.

I dont know how Henne compares to some of the other QB's in thr NFL but he sure can throw darts. One of the advantages of throwing it with such velocity is that it doesn't give the defender much time to react. Of course we all know the drawback. He's got the arm, he just needs to learn when to tone it down a bit.

Yea it is strong but (as mentioned in so many words by the announcer) he needs to learn how to use it. There have been several throws he threw harder than he needed to.

No doubt he has an absolute gun. You can really see the extra dimension he brings to our passing game just because of his velocity. He makes throws that Pennington simply couldn't, just because the ball gets there so fast and the defender can't react to it quick enough. Those passes on the rollout and the shots to the sideline get there in a HURRY. The TD pass to Hartline is another great example. That pass gets intercepted if it isn't a frozen rope to the corner like he made it.

Cutler has gun, but he lacks the fundamentals.

I've never seen a QB throw off of his back foot more than Cutler does.

For the first couple of games i figured i was just so used to seeing the Chad Pennington floaters that any pass would look like the lazers Henne throws, but it's not my eyes, the kid is for real. He can throw. I watched Henne at Michigan for years and i NEVER remember him throwing as well as he has. So i don't know what the hell is going on.

Great point  Henne got a Rocket Laucher Arm :hump: but sometime he may need to turn the heat down abit :rolleyes2: Oh well it's great to have a QB that can shoot laser shots all over the field :woot:

I think Leftwich may have a stronger arm, but it's close.

Probably has something to do with 2 years of a Parcells strength & conditioning program.
