When Saban first took over, all the talk about moving to a 3-4 D and how that does not play into Zach's strengths...Many of us wondered how he would fit in with Saban's D, but Saban fooled all of us and redesigned his D to fit the players he has...

Also, it's a known fact that Saban prefers the bigger taller LBs that can fill gaps better than the speedier, smaller Zach type LBer that Wanny/JJ employ...

I have to admit I was concerned about Zach playing in the 3-4 defense with the possibility of people getting out and blocking him. But after seeing how he is moving around I think he was looking forward to the 3-4. I have been very happy with the D. The way Zach has been plaing is purley orgasmic
