Suck for Luck is officially in full swing.

It was a joke. No I am not rooting for Luck to return to college, but that option is still on the table for him. It is possible that Miami could get the #1 pick and not have a chance to get Andrew Luck. That is the truth.

If we are starting over with a new regime(hopefully Bill Cowher) and are in a position to draft #1, yes I would want Luck to be the pick. Though even if Miami doesn't pick first, there are some other solid options like Landry Jones and Matt Barkley. Though again, those two guys also could return to college for their Senior season.

There is a chance that Tony Sparano is the coach of this team next year. That option is on the table for Ross. It's possible that he will be back here next year. That is the truth.

That's about the odds of Andrew Luck not coming out.

as for the suck for luck, as poor as a team that we are, their are teams out their that believe it or not are flat out worse.

no im not saying we arent bad, we suck, we cant do anything right, but teams like the seahawks, rams, chiefs, are just as bad if not worse.

ill still watch the games, and i know we are done in terms of playoffs or anything, but its a shame that the one year the best qb prospect is coming out, their are teams out their that just maybe worse.

Whatever happens, we need to be in position to draft Luck, Jones, or Barkley next season. Whichever one is left(in that order IMHO. I know some of you like Barkley better than Jones) is what must be done. Truth is Im not sold on Barkley or Jones, but that wouldnt stop me from wanting to draft either one. We have to address the QB position the right way. And that means taking one at the top of round 1 when in position to do so. If we draft and miss, thats the breaks. Its still not worse than passing on a QB in that spot and living with the consequences of not taking that chance in the first place.

Colts. Chiefs. Seahawks. That's who we're in contention with as of right now.

Bengals have seen enough of Dalton to ride that out for a bit.

Vikings have Christian Ponder.

Before the season, it looked to me as though we'd be in the running for Luck. I was told repeatedly that was ridiculous and we didn't have a chance at being that bad. How quick everyone is to change their tune. This turn shouldn't be surprising. It was an offseason of cowardice. Being meek is never rewarded. As long as the staff stays as is it is, we're the frontrunners for Luck. Root like hell for the other bums of this league because we're going to be right there with them at the end.

Not even out of September yet and all of the homers know we have no shot at the playoffs lol. Incredible. Even I didn't think it would be this bad this early.

Like I said in the staff predictions thread, this was going to be one of the most deceiving preseasons in years due to the lockout. Sure enough...

Just once I wish I could be wrong.

screw im down now. gotta get a top qb. or if we are top 5 hopefully the vikes have to first choice so we can trade up for luck

You missed the game last night then.
i saw a good amount of it, but i prob did miss the end. either way, from when i watched and in other weeks, i dont know, just something about him does not make me wowed.

im not saying hes going to be a bad nfl qb, but i dont see him as a guy that would turn our franchise around.

Week 9 is the big one, by then hopefully we are 0-7 and decide to throw the game...

We need the Chiefs to pull it together, they have some talent, unfortunately theyve had 2 bad injuries, but they were a playoff team last year, somewhere they should pick up a couple wins if they can get their stuff together. Im praying Manning comes back (doubt it) but it would be nice. They arent beating anyone without Manning. Seahawks were a playoff team last year. They should be able to win a few games. We are clearly in the thick of things.
