Idk if this has been asked but looking at the numbers, for what we pay Suh we could have gotten Odrick back and brought Knighton and still have like $3M left (if you average their salaries). I'm not advocating either, nor calling any contract out or anything, I just want to know what you guys think. Personally, I'm a big fan of rotating D-linemen and would have probably preferred being deeper at the position.

Suh. Odrick is overrated around here i like the guy but he needs to be in a rotation. Suh is on the field all day

Give me Suh. Odrick and Pot Roast aren't game changers that opposing OCs have to account for like Suh is. Yeah I had Odrick as my av, but he never affected games like Suh does. Knighton doesn't affect games like Suh does. Suh is a generational game changing DT coming into the prime of his career. When u have a chance to get a guy like that, you do it. Suh all day for me.

Suh, makes everybody on defense better I think

We have had very goods before, not a possibly future Hall of famer.

Absolutely Suh....odrick was a part of the defense that was porous against the run the last part of last year. it was horrible

Yea, well, I'm not questioning how good Suh is, he's definitely better than Odrick. I'm questioning value and depth. In one option you also have your depth taken care of with Mitchell as a rotation guy, while with Suh, Mitchell starts and depth beyond him is poor. I like Anthony Johnson as our 4th option better than our 3rd.

This is a legit question. You could make an argument either way I guess but im snap calling Suh...

Suh is going to be in the Football Hall Of Fame someday
the others will need a ticket to get in

Id take suh . He's an absolute nightmare on an individual matchup . And that's what makes him different .

One of the potentially best ever or a couple decent players?????

Suh forces olines to change their blocking schemes, Wake, Vernon and our LB's will benefit for this; let alone the secondary which will see the ball come out faster too. Knighton and Odrick are good defensive players, I like them both but they make no one around them better. I'll give the money to the difference maker every time.

Well then we better draft another DT early. I just don't feel comfortable with our depth. Either a two-gapper in the first three rounds to take Mitchell's spot and let Mitchell be the back up or a balanced DT to take the rotational spot.

Two-gappers:

Shelton at 14.
Brown/Goldman if we trade down to late teens/early twenties.
Phillips borderline 1st/2nd.
Davis at #47.

Balanced DTs:

Gabe Wright if we get a 3rd.
Tyeler Davison, Derrick Lott, David Parry, Letterious Walton are all late rd picks we should look at.

Well, with the money we're paying Suh we could get a whole bunch of nobodys too. I rather have an elite player than 2 average players anytime

Ozzy rules!!
