In case you somehow forgot, the Miami Dolphins run defense was awful late in the 2014 season.
Miami allowed 165.3 rushing yards the final six weeks, making it no surprise the team limped to a 2-4 finish and in turn missed the playoffs for the sixth consecutive season.
Ndamukong Suh wasn't part of the problem. But teamed again with C.J. Mosley, his running mate in Detroit, he expects to be the solution.
"I think as a defensive line as a whole, no matter what, your run game is dependent solely on you guys," Suh said this week. "You've got to set the tone. The way we get off, the way we strike offensive linemen, the way we create a new line of scrimmage ... is very key and very important. We have to continue to do that every single play, every single opportunity the team feels like they can run the ball."
And then, Suh dropped the rhetoric hammer.
"It's very disrespectful for a team to ever run the ball very heavily on you," he said. "This is a passing league, so for anybody to really run the ball heavily on you, that's really embarrassing."

He is on point with that statement.

Couldn't have said it any better myself. Really excited to see what kind of damage Suh can do for us and what hes going to do for cameron wake freeing up single coverage! I think Jordan Philips is going to be huge for us in the Run Stuffing department.

I admit I don't know much about Suh but he sounds like an intelligent young man who has a good understanding of the game and how what he does for a living fits into that ecosystem.

Our d-line stops the run like the first half of the season last year and Tannehill would've been a playoff QB. Simple fact.

How do you not know much about Suh?
meaning as a person. Pressers etx. Just his play - never paid attention to interviews etx when he was a Lion. I mean, I saw him play enough to know he's a beast - just never listened or read a word of his. I wasn't expecting an articulate individual given the rap sheet of fines etx.

I just hope he makes Brady respect him. :)

Put his name into youtube. Bright guy who is a douche bag on the field. But it's about time we had a mean SOB on the field. Who else on the defense is going to intimidate other teams besides Suh?
