I was unable to watch the game yesterday but I have been very curious to hear how Suh's game was this week. Obviously the team played great and it seems like the D-line did its job and Wake must have been a monster out there, but from a quick look at the stats its hard to tell how Suh was...and I haven't seen him mentioned much here. Can someone give me some perspective?

Played great...occupied blockers and got very good pressure

Actually Suh was very disruptive. First sack of the game he met Wake at the QB. But Wake was there first so he got credit for the sack. Suh dropped into zone a few times. Batted down a couple passes. Pretty good in run defense. Suh had his best game with us no doubt. He is the reason Wake got 1 in 1s

This is what I was hoping to hear...waiting to see it all season!

Suh did what he came to do. Allow Wake and Vernon to get one on one's. Only difference was Wake and Vernon were finally able to take advantage of it. He as mentioned by other posters did make some plays of his own.

He took on angles much better as well as holding his area on the doubles.... though he not making tackles, he played the team game allowing LBs to fill and the DEs to attack.... the pressure was contained and consistent by Vernon and Wake today.... creative attacks as well working together.

most importantly... these guys used their HANDS much better to get off blocks, disengage, and make plays on the QB, the ball, the RB, etc...

One one of Wake's sacks he defeated a double team and if Wake had not gotten the sack Suh would have...He basically side stepped both O-lineman and threw one guy into the other with his right hand and had a clear shot at the QB but by then Wake was already on the QB. That was the Suh I saw in Detroit last year.

Also great to hear!
Thanks guys, appreciate the info

Suh had more passes defended than all our DBs/LBs combined
Suh is now the 5th highest graded DT/NT per PFF

I'm glad I was able to be at the game when Suh finally woke up. Although the stat sheet doesn't show it, he was occupying 2 and 3 Titan linemen and still managed to push the pocket, knock down passes, and, of course, take the double teams off Wake. Our entire D-line played great.
