Jumping back to January 13, 2015, we should be days away from the naming rights agreement ending, and Sun Life Stadium becoming something else. Whatever that is, from reverting to some form of Joe Robbie Stadium/Dolphins Stadium/Dolphin Stadium or if a new naming rights deal is in the works, the name of the stadium currently undergoing major renovations should also be updated.

Please give the man some respect as one of the few owners that actually built the stadium on his own dime. Please bring back it's proper name "Joe Robbie Stadium".
(But I know there is no way in Hell that this owner will do the right thing)

Aren't these naming rights deals worth multiple millions of dollars each year? I find it unlikely that the stadium will go back to being named anything but [Corporate Sponsor] Stadium. Only Lambeau Field gets that honor, and only because it's owned by the people of Green Bay.

It's 2015, I get it, so try a combo, BK Field at Joe Robbie Stadium.
Robbie's name never should have been taken off. He had his flaws but he started the franchise, hired Shula and built the new stadium with NO public cash. Mr. Robbie deserves his recognition.

Correct.

Original deal with Sun Life Financial was a 5 Year / $37.5 ($7.5 per year)

"Joe Robbie Stadium" or "Don Shula Field", two men without whom this team would have absolutely no legacy to cling to.

i have no issues with having a sponsor

Right now as it exists its should be called 'No Life Stadium".

Hell if someone paid me $7.5 a year to put up some stupid signs around my stadium with a company name and logo, sure why not.
