Sun-Sen article about Sacks etc.

great read... so should I call you Nub2?

ya know ive seen a lot of threads on this site talking about how we need to improve our down 4. doesn't the sack total kinda prove that its a solid bunch? what are we ranked in run D? maybe that aspect isnt that good.

I think they are mainly refering to adding more youth. JT, Vonnie Holliday, Kevin Carter, Keith Traylor, and David Bowens are all pretty old guys...

wooow that would be a great plus for going out with a sack record and a plus going 9-7

Dont forget that we would be breakin the sack record on Brady!

The amazing thing about all of these sacks is that most teams who get off to strong leads or have explosive offenses give their defenses more opportunities to get sacks by forcing the oppositions offense to pass more. With Miami, that is not the case this year. The front four and blitzing LB's have been getting great penetration throughout the year whether it was a pass or run.

Run D is due to a lack of discipline, not by getting beaten physically up front. That can be corrected.

David Bowens is in his mid to late 20's isn't he? He's at the prime of his career.

Absolutely....how many more years do we see these guys playing together at a high level? I hope Saban addresses the DL in the draft.
