Sun-Sentinel: Chambers Epitomizes Dolphins

He makes a good point.

Was he right though?

And he does come back and say he might have been able to get it.

If CC stopped trying to catch passes with his body he would have a point. If the ball just touched the tips of his finger(s) and his hands are an inch or so from his chest whos fault is that? That is not how any receiver is taught to catch passes.

CC needs to stop making excuses for his lazy habbits when it comes to catching passes. If he did that maybe ppl would stop questioning his potential. He has a world of talent and it seems like he refuses to take advantage of his God given talents!

I don't know about anyone, but for the 1st time I thought CC was going to drop that long pass on the last drive. I can never remember thinking while the pass was in the air he's going to drop this. Whether CC likes to admit it or not he has a serious issue with dropping passes. Just imagine the record he would have set, and what the score of this last game could have been if he lived up to his potential?

I think this is why so many ppl are disapointed and still concerned after his record setting game.

ehh i think this win is more than this guy is making it out... these were the games we lost all season... we would come close and screw it up, or we'd have a lead and let the other team score and just lay down after that... but now 2 weeks straight we've shown we can respond, and continue to play even after being down, or giving up a big TD, or whatever...

these last 2 wins i think are big, now if we can just start games better, and our secondary can not give up those damn big plays (****ing lejeune... dirt in tillmans eyes, he leaves for one play and the youngen gives up that big TD, haha that sucks) we'd be in good shape...

Good read.

I thought Chambers should have scored on that bomb too. He looked so surprised to first of all catch it, then that nobody tackled him...by the time he got his legs under him, the tackler was already close enough to bring him down.

As great a game he has, I still feel he is lacking something.
