Sunday Morning Camp Report (offense)

beautiful pass. . . i saw an over throw and a diver by AFO. how about the concentration by welker(white chocolate) on 4th down. reggie howard(butterfingers) dropped another pick and wes just snatched it out of the air.

He may be talking about the pass that was floated up. Chambers stuttered his steps to make that catch look in stride but it was under thrown.

Wes Welker is quick man!! He also looks like he added plenty of muscle. He is no more than 5-9, and looks to be pushing 185 or better. Dude might be kept as a Wr, and actually be used as one too if he keeps it up. Howard actually tipped that ball twice with the second tip sending it back up in the air. Otherwise it falls harmlessly to the ground.

I love Ozzy's reports. I like that he focused on the glamour positions as well instead of the o-line. The o-line is so hard to judge without pads and Contact. At least with the receivers and backs you can judge how they cut/run/catch/throw/vision etc. Same with the defense. Backers and DB's should be focused on since you can tell if they are recognizing things of the offense, in the right position, etc. Once the pads come one, though then we can start analyzing the hell out of both lines.

I wonder if Saban will end up keeping Harris, Brown, Williams, Gordon, Morris, Evans and Martin or Minor? Definite logjam. In my opinion Minor and Martin may need to get the axe due to the talent above them. Gosh, what a difference an offseason makes. Last year we had guys like Henry, Forsey and Vick King running the ball, now we have the possibility of Harris, Gordon, Williams and Brown. :)

First of all let me say thank you, and thanks to everyone who enjoyed it.

I really took a lot of time with the offensive line. Not so much with them in action. More so when they were off on their own, learning from Houck, and his assistants. A little will come from the action sets too. I should have that up by Tuesday. I gotta replay that tape in my head a bunch of times so I get most of it. :D

Nice post Ozzy! Thanks!

I wish I would of went down there - My wife is pregnant and I'm not sure if she could handle all of the sitting out side.

Are these the only camps that are open?

They are really mixing Welker in there right now. Be interesting if they decide to cut thompson down the stretch and go with the young guys in Welker, Davis, Gilmoure as that 4th/5th WR battle.

Thanks Ozzy again. I think people shouldnt get too worried about Feeley at this point. When they said Frerrote had an edge they werent BS'n ya. It is early and Aj is going to learn the hard way once more. Maybe less time with the chickadee would help. But I think Frerrote will be the starter and I think people will be surprised.
