Sunday Practice Tweets 8/12

I'm still pulling for Gates, he really needs to get healthy and play in the preseason. Getting rid of Chad is looking to be a better decision by the day
With Wallace and Pruitt looking good these days after sitting on the ps squad for a good while, you'd think Gates might be worth being patient with...

Something tells me these 3 men have some "wear and tear" in their knee or ankles that probably could use some cleaning up via simple surgery. Yet, despite that Im betting they will wait until the offseason to have any procedures done. Im thinking they are more concerned with earning playing time and battling for starting spots than worrying about a very minor nuesence that a ton of players simply play through and take care of it in the offseason.
Kind of like Trent Richardson is having his knee scoped this week as well. I dont particularly like Garrard as well but I dont believe the hype about Garrard pulling this crap on purpose either. If he wanted to do that then he would have pulled it closer to the beginning of the regular season so he got the whole $2.25 million. But I'm not a guy that posts the same story 5644 times and then the other half telling everyone I was right <sigh>

This is the reason I do not post more ... thanks

''I dont give a SH** about my career'' LOL! Not sayin' they shouldnt cut him but why the hell would he scream that?? That just sounds like pure invention from the women's part... Women canm be evil haha!

I dont believe for a second he doesnt care about his career. He was clearly upset and thats what came out of his mouth. Not that Im defending him but im sure he cares about his career.

Let him care about it somewhere else.

Chad's dream has always been to play for the dolphins...if you watch his wife on her show..she can get crazy in a newyork minute!

It looks like Ryan Tannehill and Matt Moore will be splitting the reps today. Stay tuned.

Its about time. Garrard was a total waste. Took away a solid week of work from real men and real QBs who want to play.

Police report states Johnson screamed, "I don't give a (bleep) about my career!" to Evelyn Lozada:

Of course he dosent. Most of us knew that long ago. His career has been over for a few years anyway.

Compression sleeves on the lower legs are worn when there is strain on the calf or just to help facilitate circulation. Doesn't always mean they are hurt when they have a sleeve on. And, it definitely doesn't mean they need surgery.

Hasnt Dwayne Wade worn a compression sleeve on his arm for years?

I know this. I was just referencing the fact Garrard was wearing one the other day and then all of the sudden he is too injured to play when he has to put on a jersey that isnt red.

Fact is, about half of the QBs in the NFL have some kind of minor thing that could use some basic surgery to clean it out. Yet, this guy chooses to do that a few hours before the first time he can take hits in a game. Also, he is supposed to be competing for a starting QB job, yet he seems to want no part of it. Youre telling me Roethlisberger dosent need minor surgery on his shoulder? Of course he does, but he will play through it and he dosent even have to compete for his job. He could sit for 3 weeks and come back and start week 1 of the regular season.

Sound like Wallace is FINALLY making his move. Good game followed by a good practice with the 1st team.

if he goes against Sean all day he's got it made.

okay lets quit raking ireland over the coals for garrad and johnson. It's not like he signed either of these guys to a long term contract. It's not we are going to wither in salary cap hell over either one of them. Hell we didn't even give up draft picks for either. Ireland took a flier on these guys to see if it would work out, and it didn't. That happens. i relate it to taking a udfa or a guy in the 7th round if he doesn't pan out you really don't have a lot invested in them so it's worth a shot.

Any more tweets about practice today?

All the rest of the tweets were in regard to Philbins presser... pretty much 30 tweets about 3 things he covered so I don't feel like copying and pasting them all haha... but the main topics were:

He intends to get Tannehill time with the ones in preseason, maybe even vs Carolina. Still hopes to have starter by game 3

The 2nd Defense looked like it moved faster than the 1s last Friday specifically Spitler and Trusnik

He intends to talk with Johnson in the near future, wouldn't rule out tonight, before making any decisions
