Sunday Ticket or Live Game?

I think you should go. I think everyone should go so that the game doesn't get blacked out and I can watch it in High Definition at home! ;)

Actually, going to games is great and I try and go once a season. But, with big T.V.s and high definition, air conditioning and inexpensive beer, home's pretty good too.

Sunday ticket,TiVo, 60" hd TV, easy access to lots of beer and the bathroom, thats what I prefer. And now that DirecTV broadcasts the games in HD it's like being there.

gotta pay extra $$$ this year for those HD games!

Personally, i would prefer to watch all the home games live. But being that i'm from NY, i cant fly down to FLA. every weekend to watch the games. I do go down every year(well, we try) for the Jets game. And i go to the meadowlands when Miami comes up here. For that reason, i LOVE DIRECTV.!!!! and now that i got HDTV and a new SHARP AQUOS LCD 36" to watch the games on. Home is where i'll be!! :D :D :D

Sometimes, tho. a great bar with big screens and lots of finfans cant be beat!. Anyone from NYC know where i can watch the fins with my fellow fans?? If i do go to a bar with some friends, i usually head to a bar called 515 on 3rd Ave. between 34th and 35th street. i know the head bartender there and he lets me put the fins on the HUGE screen!! Plus the food is very good. But i rarely see any fin fans there :( :fire:

Watching all 16 games? or watching 1 live and struggling to see games that are not televised? I have had the sunday ticket since 1996 so you know my answer but I still catch a live game here and there

I like watching the games from home cause I live in the ATL.. The only game I have been to in years was the Dolphins Falcons game at the dome that we got murdered in about 5-6 years ago... Was Brutal to watch... I like watching at home to keep up with fantasy teams, eat well cheap, and now talk to folks on Finheaven during the game to call out Donald Lee for another false start..

After reading all of yalls post I have decided to go with getting Nfl Sunday Ticket...I would rather watch all 16 games then drive 8 hours and pay 400 dollars to watch one game live...Thanks for all of your responses and they really helped a lot

I have the chance to go the the Dolphins Vs Saints game on Oct 30 but instead of that i could order Sunday Ticket for Directv...Which would you prefer to have...one game live or all 16 on a big screen tivo'd...thanks

I have gotten nfl ticket for about 5 or 6 years now. i got it when it was on c-band dish and now directv. It is the greatest. trust me it is worth every penny. i have hdtv so I am going to have to shell out $318 for nfl ticket plus the new package with hdtv games. one game live and they may lose. then you will be ticked because you didn't get nfl ticket. It is also great if you are into fantasy football. I live in Tn. and was thinking about trying to get tickets to drive to tampa to the bucs game but i think i'll watch it at home. the dolphins also do not have any primetime games this year. so you won't be able to watch a single game on tv this year. no monday night or sunday night games. NFL TICKET you won't regret it!!!!!!!!

For me, I would have to say that going to the DOLPHINS game is far better than TV. The reason I say that is, I'm from Chicago and I've had season tickets to the Bears down in Champaign when I was in college. I've seen Bears games here in the renovated Soldier Field but NOTHING compared to my yearly drive to Indy to watch Dolphins - Colts. Now that they dont play each other every year, the closest I could get this year would be in Cleveland. Figuring cost and the fact Miami will not be televised as much this year, I will be going with Direct TV.
