Luke Kuechly- Reggie Ragland
Kawann Short- Andrew Billings
Aqib Talib- Eli Apple
Thomas Davis Scooby Wright
Danny Trevethan- Myles Jack
Malik Jackson- Shaq Lawson
Josh Norman- Kendall Fuller
Chris Harris Jr-Vernon Hargreaves III
Von Miller- not sure he exists in this draft

Maybe we can sign Danny Trevethan and draft Reggie Ragland! Now that would take care of the linebacking unit.

I stopped at the first comparison...lol...hilarious.

I actually like Ragland but LMAO. Luke is 10x the player, Wright is a Davis double? LOL, Myles Jack is more Brandon Marshall than Trevethan, Malik Jackson is a 3-4DE while Lawson's a 4-3DE, and Kendall Fuller fits more as a Safety.

The only ones I agree with are the last two.

This list awful... Scooby for Thomas Davis? Jack is totally the best comparison there

Between this and your thread saying to not draft OL until the 5th at least... Wow I will pass on your evals lol

The best comparison i see isnt even listed...and its bradley roby and vernon hargreaves...i think they will be similar pros...hargreaves may lack of a little of the elite explosion roby has and drive on the football when he puts his foot in the ground and comes forward but hes got better awareness and recognition

At minimum i think hargreaves is a bradley roby type nfl corner although he may be best suited for the slot...although his vertical leap at the combine may squash some of that

In terms of physical tools i think chris harris and hargreaves makes a lot of sense...but you dont get away with that kind of size on the boundary very often and the latter is gonna have to defend the ball in the air at the high point better on the boundary

Your reply-awful. I will also pass on your critiques of my work.

I'm still waiting for anyone to give me ONE OL in this draft besides Tunsil who has the ability to step in and make a difference right away. Ronnie Stanley?? no. Cody Whitehair. no way

Point is, and nobody in here can deny it, there are 3 or 4 rounds of defensive players in this draft who can step in right away and make a difference. There is no reason to waste more high picks on OL who won't be ready to contribute. Hey trav, I'd like to see some real debate in here but if you can't/won't make a point, why deny the fact that drafting OL in first three or four rounds is just another empty mantra from empty fins fans

Here's DA Truth about guys like da truth. They have no ability to come up with anything on their own so they knock others who do. Sad.

as for the Ragland- Kuechly comparison- they both came out of college as the best pure MLB's with range, leadership and playmaking ability.
Get a life, truth. You come off as a sad little hater.

There is no Kuechly in this draft, no way. And if Hearvreaves is a slot corner, pass, we need a boundary. I'm liking a pass rusher or DT to stop the run at 8.

I read through that whole thread and had nothing to add that hadn't already been said. Look man, you're smart and know what youre talking about. but some things I (and others obviously) disagree with .For example, I think this draft should probably be mostly defensive the first few rounds. But if a potentially good OL were to fall to us, it would be irresponsible to at least not CONSIDER taking him. Our OL woes NEED to be shored up in FA. I agree that no rookie outside of a 1st rounder would probably make an immediate Zack Martin like impact. BUT, that isn't to say that taking OL early, ever is a terrible idea. If we were in a position to go BPA, or didn't have as many huge needs elsewhere.. I may not have time to scour and look into every single player coming out, and may only truly know a few, so I prefer to defer to others on here for a good analysis, and yeah guys will disagree about some, but its a great place to come for discussion on players...

Like this, truth comes on here all the time talking about guys and providing tons of content to the site (specifically around draft/summer time). And its definitely a minority that thinks that Ragland is "all that" at MLB. So, think what you will and time will tell.

I don't see the comparisons at all...

Outside of playing the same position Ragland and Kuechly are not even in the same conversation

Jack has no comparison on either team...unique skillset..

Outside of matching postion vs position I don't really think any of them really emulate their counterparts..

Someone else brought it up and not drafting a lineman until the 5th....I agree, wouldn't touch a lineman in the first 2 days...fix that ****ing defense first...add guys on the side of the ball and attack o-line in FA.

Ragland's "playmaking ability" is being slow and ****ty in coverage. No comparison at all to Kuechly.
