i heard an opening number of 3.5... likely to change, but for now who would u take?

VIP Sports has Pittsburgh at -3.5.

I think Pittsburgh is going to win, but it's still surprising to see Seattle as the underdogs.

oops, and i cant edit the options.... coulda swore i heard "seahawks enter as 3.5 favorites"... anyhow, sorry

I think -3.5 Pitt and +3.5 Seattle is the same thing? :sidelol:

Hope it is fixed...how can the Steelers be favored?? They are the #6 seed.

no.... see, what was wrong was the favorite listed :)... not the number itself

steelers are favored.... i had listed seattle

Pittsburgh is now up to -4. The total is between 47 and 48.

I have no idea. When the playoffs wind down to the point no teams are rejected by my run the ball often (30ish), pass the ball well (7+ YPA) dosage index theory, I generally don't bet. That was the case today and good thing because I would not have come up with both winners.

I guess I'll just hope some joint makes a blatant mistake when they put up the Super Bowl prop. Very often you can get a good price on yes there will be 3 straight scores for one team. The correct price is more than 2/1 yes, but the public tends to think the games go back and forth so they bet heavily on the no and drive the number down. On one game you obviously can lose betting yes, but over the long haul if you bet yes every time whenever the price is less than -2.00, you will come out ahead.

Here's a very relevant reference point in the playoffs, Bud Goode's "Killer Stat" of Offensive Yards Per Attempt minus Defensive Yards Per Attempt.

You will notice Pittsburgh was 2nd in the league, just 1/10 below Indianapolis, despite being a #6 seed. The teams with a significant advantage in this regard have done very well in the playoffs in regard to the spread, this year and almost every year. Pittsburgh is +2.3 while Seattle is +1.4, so I'd estimate the correct team is favored: http://mule.he.net/~budsport/pub/killer.php

 Here's one of the prop bets on VIP sports.

Will The Burger King Score TD

Any Commercial Between Kickoff and Last Play

000 No (350)
No Burger King Commercial Is NO

well, i gotta say then.... i love the under...
is 47 or 48 the O/U as of now? If so, that's tricky...both teams have solid defenses but I have a strong feeling this game is gonna be a shootout

It is. It started out at 3.5 though.

And yes, CW, the O/U is 47 right now.
