Hello Brothers. My apologies if this is in the wrong forum wasn’t sure where to ask this. I have some friends going to the SB and have tickets. They are wanting me to meet up with them before the game in the parking lot. I was going to get dropped off and meet them. Does anyone know if you can just walk into the parking lot without a ticket to the game or parking pass. Thanks for any info

I think you can tailgate. I think lots will who aren't going to the game. Hard to say though with security. Anyone?

I was going to do the same last year in Atlanta. But I was told there was a security area around the stadium. If you didn’t have a ticket or were paying for one of the expensive tailgates inside the area you couldn’t get in. I would expect similar this year. Cheapest tailgate I found was around $500 in Atlanta. Hope this helps.

Also the normal tailgating area in Atlanta last year was used for Super Bowl people only. It’s much smaller than all the lots outside Hard Rock.

No tailgating.

The NFL says no to Super Bowl tailgating in Hard Rock Stadium parking lots

Wonder if it would have been possible to just buy a parking ticket without having game ticket when they were still available. $125 is a lot cheaper than the $500 they were charging in Atlanta last year.

Heard the tickets were 4k, that's a lot of money for a football game.

While a game ticket does not include parking you can only get a parking ticket with a Super Bowl ticket.

▪ Those who have tickets to the Super Bowl will be the only ones allowed to park at the stadium’s NFL-managed parking lots. You also won’t be able to tailgate in those NFL lots. It’s prohibited, according to the website.

I do know that there will be concession tents set up on the perimeter of the stadium that will open at, I believe noon and will close around 1 hour before kickoff. Many of those tents will be occupied by my daughter's high school band parents. The company in charge of the concessions is paying a percentage of sales in those tents to the band for their service. I will not be one of them, as they have to be there from 6am to 6pm on gameday, and I want to see the game. We are hoping for a few thousand for the band program!
