Steelers D is too much For HAwks and Steelers O is great

Supposedly so were the 'skins and Panthers D...before the 'hawks worked them over. I do think the Steelers match up with us better than anyone else in the AFC, but there are two simple reasons I think we'll win this game. We have the best offensive line in football, and our linebackers always find the right place at the right time.

Hasselbeck and Alexander...highest scoring team in the league....sorry Steelers but your year is over.

I have to agree.

Living in the UK, I have seen a little of each of these teams this season.

And while the Steelers' post-season has been out of this world, I think the Seahawks will just be too good all-round for them.

I don't really love or hate either or these teams, so all I hope for is a good, really close game.

And yes, I will be staying up till 4am to watch it.

I have already booked the Monday off work!

I'm not very impressed.

You were a long way out on the score.

"Steelers by two"?

Just kidding.

I did not think the Steelers would win, so I am very impressed.

Those D's are not close to the way Pitt is playing right now and now Sea faces an AFC team, they step up to real competition and they will not win.

If this exact same argument hadn't been made before every single game Seattle played against the latest 'hot' team (Oh, those other good teams? The ones you beat? They actually sucked. THIS is a real team...) I might actually give it some credit. Like I said the Steelers match up well with the 'hawks, and vice versa. They are the ONLY team in the AFC that actually concerned me as a Superbowl matchup, so don't get all preachy about the superiority of the conference.

Actually to clarify, My prediction was a 10+ points win in the post... UNLESS DENVER got their running game going and then predicted PITTSBURGH still to win by 2... :D

Big Ben is overdue for a bad game. I just think Seattle has a much better running game with Alexander compared to Bettis and Parker.....YES Polamalu and blitzberg are good on D, but Hasselbeck is a very smart QB and Holmgren knows how to handle teams that blitz......Seattle is gonna win their first SB.

come on now....seriously how many truly "bad" games has he had??

Pittsburgh will not lose this game. Their defense has caused havoc for the best offenses in the NFL!!!! They have handily beat the top three seeds in the AFC, and the Colts at home were more than lucky to have a chance to put the game into OT. Polamolu has impressed me with not only his speed but his brilliance, he reads plays like books, and is always where he needs to be. The Pittsburgh offense isnt anything special, but Hines Ward is a big playmaker and their Bettis-Parker duo is formidable. Big Ben is simply an excellent pocket passer, sooooo efficient and can pick up the first down with his legs when he needs to. The Seahawks are in deep crap.
