Superstition during six game winning streak..

Usually on Sunday mornings before the Fins games I would try to decided which Dolphin Jersey I should sport during the game that weekend. Well before we went on our six game winning streak we werent doing so well so i decided I wasnt going to go with a Jersey the next weekend against Buffalo. So in the back of my closet I found this Orange fins shirt that said Dolphins and sports a Revolution Helmet with the fins logo on it. Its not the most fashionable shirt in the world, but i thought maybe for some weird reason it would bring us some luck. So I put the shirt on and we won. So i wore it the next weekend. And I even wore it to the Jets Dolphins game when i was lucky enough to go to the game. But we just kept winning so i kept wearing it. After the Pats game i hung it back up in my closet (never washing it during the streak) and will wear it every game until the Fins loose.


Just wondering if anyone else did anything special during the winning streak???
 
I have five Dolphins jerseys and I pretty much decide which to wear that morning. I watch all the games at a sportsbar so I rarely wear my authentics there because you were still able to smoke in bars here, but starting July 1st no more smoking in bars in Colorado so I can wear my authentics now without getting them stinkied up. :tongue: I have a aqua mesh shirt that says Miami Dolphins in white lettering...this is my good luck shirt. I also always stop by Arbys for a Jamocha shake on the way to the sportsbar. :wink:
 
I make sounds like Flipper while I'm doin' the ol lady and make her sing the Dolphins song while I pound rhythm........











..you believe me doncha?
 
What I do is I choose a Jersey to wear on Sunday. If they win I wear the same one the next week. If they lose I switch Jerseys the next week.
 
I wore my Dolphins tie to work the day after each victory. Thats about it. :D

I used to do this until we kept losing over and over and then I said screw it. I just grab a jersey based on feel. It also depends whether it is hot out or snowing out....the authentics are warmer than the cheaper replicas. :D
 
No im gunna take a picture of the Shirt. Ill post it on here and everyone should go out and try to find one. Im telling you its ugly and probally my least favorite shirt until we kept winning.

ha keep wearing it! I usually wore a fins shirt, hat, and some dolphs wristbands for good luck
 
Under my 'Jason Tayor 99' username it reads 'WIN MIAMI WIN!" I typed that before the six game winning streak and of course we havent lost since. Normally i edit that little bit of text weekly but am not touching it untill the sad day when we lose!

Also, and this is weird, the ORANGE JERSEY bails us out. I never wear them on gameday but when we are losing in a must win game or a game i REALLY REALLY want us to win i put the orange jersey on - only if we losing badly! I did it against Buffalo when we were 21-3 down at HT, ran upstairs, put it on and the rest is history.

Did this one other time, cant remember what game, but we won! :D
