Buffalo has the #1 pick in every round, and Miami has the 4th pick.

Josh Gordon just got drafted in the 2nd round by the Browns.

Miami would have had to use a 1st round pick to get Gordon. For a 2nd round pick? Cleveland can have him.

they knew we had 2 3rds...damn!!
Actually, in the Supplemental draft we only had one 3rd. Also to reiterate, Miami would have had to use a 1st round pick to get Gordon. We are talking about a guy that most people thought of as a 3rd, 4th or even 5th round pick.

Cleveland has really restocked. Weeden. Richardson. Gordon. And didn't they take Mitchell Swartz at the top of the second?
Those 4 to go with Joe Thomas, Alex Mack, and Greg Little. They look like they are on the rise. If I were Cincinnati, I might be concerned.

Something else to keep in mind, the 2nd round in next April's draft is now only 31 picks long. The Dolphins are likely to have a better season than the Browns, so the pick the Dolphins earn in the 2nd round will be one notch higher.

Another update, the Browns were the only team to put in a 2nd round claim. So, unless the Bills were going to draft him in the 3rd, he would have been there for the Browns to take him in the 3rd.

When you've got Brandon Weeden throwing the ball, you need deep threats and speed. They really don't have that. Mohammed Massaquoi can't stretch a defense. I don't know if Greg Little does, either. Carlton Mitchell is a big disappointment and I've never had a high regard for Travis Benjamin.
They had the worst receivers unit in the league and with a 28 year old rookie QB they can't afford to waste any years trying to build. They took a gamble.

We knew he'd go in the second round. I think it's a great pick by the Browns.
