Supplemental draft will happen Monday, Pryor is not........

ha... how misleading of you Nublar. Pryor is not.... ineligible.

I bet we don't offer anymore than a 5th for him. I suspect someone else will take him with a 4th.

Anyone know why Pryor can't practice or play with the team that selects him until after the 5th game? Is that how it's always been? I just don't remember that being the case in the past but I could be wrong. Edit: Nevermind I guess they're applying the 5 game suspension he agreed to at Ohio State to his NFL career.

Put a 5th on him. I'd have no problem with that. Worst case scenario we get a new WR/TE. Best case scenario? Superbowl.

So after the 5th game he takes a roster spot? Is he ready to play?

Because he tried to "undermine the rules of the supplemental draft, and get around them". I am not sure what shape he is in, but the kid is an athletic freak. I would take a chance on him in the later rounds.

If Dumbte and VY combined sperm to make a love child it.would be Pryor

Basically anyone that does draft him is going to have to sit on him for the 2011 season. You won't really be able to involve him this season, because he can't practice or play until after the 5th game. From my understanding, you won't have to use a roster spot on him until after his five game suspension.

The NFL wants to start punishing players who have violations in college and jump to the NFL. Reggie Bush is a good example, because he is in the NFL, but USC has to pay for what happened. They want to be able to punish the players also and this appears to be the first case of that.

If we take him: "Omg, what are we doing? He's going to be terrible!"

If the Pats take him: "Omg, what are we doing? He's going to be great!"

Thank you! I completely forgot about him agreeing to that 5 game suspension with Ohio State. Wonder if he'll reschedule his pro day now.

Actually, the Jets could take him to replace Brad Smith. That might have been their plan all along.
