Supplemental draft will happen Monday, Pryor is not........

Yea, all this fuss, this will just be to pretty much hold his rights. Although with the new QB rule . . . he could get some burn in a few packages with whoever selects him

Even if he can not play, he can learn the system and our coaches can decide if they want to go the QB route or something different. Who knows, he may be a big speedy TE target for Luck next year. Get him here, everyone knows that we could use him some way. Another weapon to have in the holster. He could be our Brad Smith that every one is crying about.

Basically anyone that does draft him is going to have to sit on him for the 2011 season. You won't really be able to involve him this season, because he can't practice or play until after the 5th game. From my understanding, you won't have to use a roster spot on him until after his five game suspension.

The NFL wants to start punishing players who have violations in college and jump to the NFL. Reggie Bush is a good example, because he is in the NFL, but USC has to pay for what happened. They want to be able to punish the players also and this appears to be the first case of that.

Actually, I think he's being punished because he tried to circumvent the system and get into the supplemental draft...not necessarily because of his rules violations...However, I like the move. This lets future idiots know that they can be held accountable for their actions even before entering the league. It's a privilege, not a right...

I don't understand the fascination some people have with him, the guy was barely getting the job done on a team that is normally stacked all around and was able to manage fine before he got there. People look at him like he's amazing, but seems to me they only did slightly better with him than they did in the years leading up to his time there.

he'll be Maurice Clarett part II. Somebody will take a flyer on him because he has so much talent but he's got nothing upstairs. He'll be out of the league in 3 years.

Yeah I say a sixth because if he can't play QB then we get a tight end which is a need for this team but all in all its no big deal if we get him or not.

If we take him: "Omg, what are we doing? He's going to be terrible!"

If the Pats take him: "Omg, what are we doing? He's going to be great!"
Not really because only our front office would consider a scrub like Pryor. (See: Pat White, Chad Henne). Patriots have 3 quarterbacks that are better than anything the Dolphins have and Pryor.

Not ineligible!!! Hahahaa good one Nub!!! That is like saying Not ugly. Doesn't make it great though. I think it is good the NFL is starting to penalize these guys, and if a player gets suspended five games in college and decides to skip out and turn pro, than they still get the same penalty when they turn pro. Make them take a hit to the wallet. With that said, I think Pryor could be a good fit somewhere at either QB or WR. I think he will have a better pro career than Tebow.

The guy barely the job done? 34-4 as a starter..... 2 BCS bowl wins
sit him on the bench and let him develop..

The NFL has to get involved to help clean up some of this mess in college football.... It's time players AND coaches are held accountable for running programs into the ground with violations, and then getting to jump scott free to the NFL only to leave behind a bunch of kids and coaches to suffer the consequences.

Meanwhile, Pryor comes forward with MORE violations he committed at Ohio St.

Pryor's wasting his time trying to play professional football in my opinion... but I'm not sure he's qualified to do much else...

I thought we were done with the wildcat???????

I dont think we will ever be done with it. Its not a bad thing to have in the playbook. I'm not saying we should use it 10 times a game. We dont even have to use it every game, but we shouldnt get rid of it totally.
