So i did not see any post about this but the Supplemental Draft is on wednesday and former Ohio State QB terrelle pryor is trying to get into it. If he is allowed to enter would you want him to join the dolphins? as a Penn State fan i would i hate him but you cannot deny that he is skilled and would no doubt help the dolphins, if not this year then in the future

Pryor is trying to meet with Goodell tomorrow or Tuesday to try and get into the draft. If he does, I do think Miami will have interest in say the 5th or 6th round.

By the way esirota, I am a Penn State fan also.

I think he is a bit of a dirt bag personally but do admit the kid has skills... He should have never been allowed to play in the bowl game but he skirted the rules to be able to now he mite get screwed... But yes I think he could be a good pickup for a 5th rounder or possibly a 4th.

Yes, I can actually.

I as well am a HUGE PSU fan and remember him running all over us. I would take a 6th or 7th rounder on him why not. Anymore and i'd be a little upset.

Seeing how well Cam Newton played yesterday I would take a flyer on Pryor. What do we have to lose? A cornfed lineman we would take in the 3rd rd?

It's almost a garuntee that there will be an FO augmentation next season, we have stick to our guns and ride it.. Keep our picks.

Awfully interesting comparison.

If one was white....... the parallel would never be made.

One guy had a season for the ages, the other is going to be the next great Ohio State bust on the Pro Level. Let McDanials try and convince the Rams to waste another draft pick on a College Quarterback who doesnt have the skills to cut it in the NFL... cough* tebow

Has nothing to do with color and everything to do with skillset and character perceptions. Both had questions on being able to be pocket passers. Both have laser arms and great mobility. Both had character questions. Both were characterized as selfish premadonas.

Pryor has continued to show seldom of any type of development in a pro style offense while Cam Newton flourished in a spread offense and had one of the greatest seasons, if not the greatest season of all time.

If an 8 for 19 performance against scrubs in preseason game 1 all of the sudden gives you the confidence to forget about all of the character issues and now gives hope for Terrell Pryors professional football prospects... you are lost.

As of right now the stigma will lump Cam Newton, Terrel Pryor, and Vince Young together regardless of their play, but rather, sadly.. because of their race and position they play.

You obviously didn't watch the Carolina game. Cam had awesome mechanics and great accuracy on almost every throw. Most of his incompletions were on the money but either defended well or the scrub receivers failed to make the catch. He had great pocket awareness and footwork. He had command of the huddle. All of these were huge question marks before the draft.

All I'm saying is don't discount Pryor. Hard work and dedication can refine awesome natural talent into something special. I would take a chance on him. Like I said what do we have to lose? Another John Jerry?
