I just want to put my support out there for Joe Philbin and his staff. Bullets flying at him from all directions, even "friendly fire" from his own fanbase. Coach McCarthy supported him on Sirius which was good to hear. I am sure that there are still many Dolphin supporters who feel that they have the right guy for the job and I am one of them. Go get us a win in Tampa Bay Joe!

Why? Give me some "football" reason to support this guy? Seriously...I have yet to have one of his defenders give a good reason...go ahead...

You can support him all you want. He is GONE after this season. next season you can follow him on twitter.

I'll support him if the team goes on a 3 game winning streak and we are 7-4 going into NY

If we win some games, he isn't going anywhere. sorry to bust your bubble.

I support him but if we don't at least get to the playoffs my support will expire at the end of the season

Can we please just enjoy HALF the season and root your a$$ off for a playoff run and worry about the staff after the season!

Im confused, whats with all this hatred towards Philbin? Its only his 2nd year as coach. What do you expect, a superbowl? Be patient. Cant keep switching up staff every 2 years, thats not going to help longterm.

If the nfl investigation clears him of any wrong doing..then I would prefer Philbin came back...for many different reasons. Ireland, on the other hand could be fired today and not because of the present day debacle.

He allowed Incognito, with his history, to assume a leadership role on the team.

Then you are obviously clueless. Because every African American player on this team loves Richie Incognito

He's the coach and he hasn't pissed me off yet. I'd rather see him succeed than have to find a new coach. He's gotten some nice wins in tough games like Indy and Cincy but also dropped some winnable ones like Baltimore, Buffalo, New England. It's only his 2nd year and things can swing either way for him and this team and I'd rather things go well and he has the chance to improve this team and go forward next year. They can play with the good teams, they've got to finish games better against good teams and finish lesser teams quicker and more convincingly . They aren't far from being a good team it's well within reach. I know they aren't far being a bad team either, LOL, but I'm hoping they avoid that.

Contrary to what people are thinking right now, this is actually a very disciplined team...at least on the field. We are one of the least penalized teams in league (even with those #@*! calls in the NE game). That's a sign of a well coached team.

And give me a reason why he should be fired?

He makes no meaningful adjustments at the half
His game and clock management is poor
He does not use the weapons he has well
He continues to play players that have no business being on the field
His offense is vanilla
He tried to go to a hurry-up style offense, but couldn't because he was incapable of coaching the team well enough to do it
