1. Patrick Ramsey (although it sounds like he's going to be a Jet)
2. Brian Griese
3. Josh McCown
4. Kerry Collins
5. Gus Frerotte

Dishonorable mention: Aaron Brooks

Even if we signed any of the above to be our QB next year, we would still have to draft a QB in the early rounds of the draft.

I really like Collins but what scares me is his propensity to throw a lot of INT's.

J. Kitna or J. McCown wouldn't be too bad. Collins would also work as a short term soluton....

Or maybe even B. Favre. I've always like Brett, his arm might not be what it use to be, but I think he'd still make a decent one year hold over until we find the guy....

Collins is better then all he listed, but he'll be going to the ravens. The dolphins should have went after collins when he became available durring Wanny time as head coach.

If we miss out on a truly good QB in free agency, draft a guy in the first two or three rounds and groom him. I'd rather have a young guy who struggles than an old guy who struggles.
