What is that reason?

No, he is not Barry Sanders, but built like him and runs like him. If Wanny were picking and Barry were on the board, he woould pass b/c Barry can not hammer it between the tackles. Many teams would pass on Barry coming out of college now. He was not fast, big, and does not show leadership skills. The top things the scouts look at:

40 time
Strength
receiving ability
ability to pick up the blitz
Size
Character
locker room presence

Barry was below average in more than half. That is why he would fall in the new era draft. Do not get me wrong, I believe he was the best to ever play the game!!!!!

My point is size was the main knock on him. Scouting reports said that he had talent but lacked ideal size to be a top back in the NFL!!!

I thought the reason was kind of obvious, his lack of talent.

Barry Sander had the best year a college running back ever had, there is no way that he would have fallen very far in the modern draft. And just because a player is nearly the same size as Sanders doesnt mean he is going to be a similar player.

He showed talent enough given the limited # of carries! He was the best return man on the team by the #s!
 
Tough explosive ball carrier w/ outstanding instincts. Runs low to the ground, has darting style and sets up defenders, then makes them miss. Elusive, bounces to the outside, avoiding piles and displays the ability to feeze opponents, cuts back against the grain, and finds the open spot in a defense. Outstanding running vision, has a burst through the hole and runs hard on the inside.

More quick than fast(4.55 40) lacks break away speed. Lacks power to break tackles on the inside. marginal blocking and pass-rec skills.

Sound pretty good to me. Must need no negatives to show talent!!!
 
This year Roth won't have the fair shake b/c of the depth on the DL.
Crowder may have a chance, Roth could play olb. Intriguing! Camp has more interest than ever before. (w/JJ there was plenty) This is a whole new org.

It is a crap shoot!!!! The Miami Dolphins will be the surprise of the NFL!!!!!!!!!!
