I was just looking at different stats on nfl.com

heres something interesting....Miami is second only behind Chicago in total yards/game allowed and yards/play.
 
Yup. And everyone thinks we have this god awful secondary. It's not that they're awful it's that they're not able to physically match up on bigger guys in the red area as well. Or, at least we weren't...before Yeremiah Bell. :)
 
I was just looking at the numbers...if you supplement the games Joey didn't play with what he's done, at least yard wise, he'd be Top 5, at least related to yards.

I think Yeremiah Bell may be the real deal. He always makes big plays and just seems to be in the right place at the right time.

does anyone have the link to where we are rated 2nd overall on defense...not being annoying just would like to see it
 
# 2 in the NFL!!!! Yessssssss. :dolphins:

Our D keeps us in pretty much every game.....it's a shame we got off to such a lousy start, but I think we can still make the playoffs. :tongue:
 
Who said our defense is too old?

TAMPA's defense is too old, though i'd definately take Ronde Barber over Will Allen ;)
 
wow that is impressive now we have to work on our offense and we will be a perfect team.

Why? I like Barber but he gets toasted every now and then, as does every CB in the NFL. In fact, he got toasted last night.
Will Allen has been better than I expected. Goodman has been very good also. Our CB's HAVE NOT been the problem this year, it's been the play of our safeties. The last 2 weeks have proven that.
The secondary has been solid the entire season with the exception of giving up big plays due to miscommunication. They haven't been picked apart by any QB yet.
