Surely, miami are not going to sign four new offensive lineman !

If the Dolphins are going to quickly rebuild their offensive line, they are going to need to sign more than just one lineman in free agency but is it possible that they sign two starting tackles and guards to large contracts ? I ask this question because i remember in 2010 they spent in excess of $100 mill on the offensive line. Also knowing that Mike Pouncy would be looking for a big contract next year and guess what, if Tannehill works out, he would be looking for good money as well.

I don't think the plan is to bring in four high priced starters. To be honest, I don't think we will sign four lineman in free agency. We are definitely going to be drafting some linemen and the way we have handled the cap lately I am not too worried.
 
I think you will just see one major free agent contract for the offensive line. I expect them to sign a right tackle and a guard in free agency, but they will probably be mid level contracts instead of a major deal. The draft will likely fill the other guard position.

They will sign a minimum of two starters. Three is more likely.
 
Don't mean to post outside of the topic, but could you contribute to making posts instead of just starting a ton of threads?
 
If by sign you mean FAs and rookies, yes, they likely will. And don't call me Shirley.
 
I could actually see garner and brenner getting a good look at lg during camp, but who knows.
 
Sign Monroe/Albert, draft a RT, draft a G, add Garner and Brenner to the mix(as per sinPhin), sign 2 other lesser known FA's for depth

and/or has been suggested many times kick Pouncey over and draft a C(then we have a center for the future and Pouncey can move on in '15)
 
I could see a total of 2 offensive line free agents brought in and 3 drafted guys. Highly doubt we sign 4 guys to the line, maybe not even 3.
 
I think we'll get at most 2 guys in free agency for the oline. Keep on mind that Soliai and Starks seem to be leaving so we'll most likely have to get a DT in free agency. Can't use the whole cap on the O-line. I'm pretty sure we'll draft 2 olinemen as well. I doubt we draft 3 since we only have 6 picks and we'll need a RB and a Safety and posibly a TE.
