What teams do you think will surprise this year? I say in the NFC it's going to be the Cards and in the AFC it's going to be us. What do you guys think?

There are so many strong teams in the AFC its hard to pick a suprise team but i'll go with the Chiefs defense finally stepping up and a decent playoff run and in the NFC the Cardinals aren't a bad pick but for some unknown reason i thinks the Rams will have a good season

For some reason i think that the Chiefs are going to implode at any minute. Both of there O-tackles retired, their offense is getting up there in age, and Herm Edwards is very conservative. He's had some success but i don't know if he's bringing them to the Super Bowl.

i honestly think with a new staff in Detroit, they can make the playoffs...

Detroit does have a lot of potential. They could very well surprise some people...not to the point of winning the division, but to the point of a 0.500 season.

.500 just might be good enough to win that division. The Bears have no offense and I really don't see the defense repeating their 2005 performance. That division is up for grabs and I think 9 wins will win it.

As for my suprise, I'll the Atlanta Falcons coming back after an 8-8 year. I don't know if you can call them a suprise, but they added Jimmy Williams and John Abraham to that defense. They are also one of the top 5 rushing teams in the NFL. Now if Michael Vick ever learns how to throw the football, they will be a Super Bowl contender.

I would have said the Browns, if thier center hadn't gotten hurt......But everyone is saying,Cards,Buc's,Saints etc.etc.etc.This year watch out for the Vikings.......I'm serious, not a superbowl team,But a HUGE improvement!

Everybody is saying the cards which means their expectations of them are still low. Why? To me the cards making it to the POFFS is not that big of a surprise. Look at their OFF Weapons: 2 Top 10 WR's a Top 5 RB and a Qb who's been there, done that early in his career. To me the cards are a given.
