Do we sign any of them to get corner help with the loss of Will Allen? All three would be good mentors to Vontae and Sean.

Depends on how well the dynamic duo do this weekend. If they get torched, then yeah, you have to open up to the possibility of signing a veteran.

Whether or not we sign one of these guys, it's a little odd to only have 4 cornerbacks (we've been dressing 5 for games). Unless they want to activate Clemons instead of a fifth CB...

If we are going to play pick up games at the nursing home sandlot, then sign em up.

McAlister is only 32. Not young by any means for a football player but could help at safety and help tutor Davis and Smith.

I agree, lets find out what we have and see a little more of Culver and perhaps Clemons gets in there some.

Well, if we get torched, our season is also over (assuming the torching results in a loss). If that's the case, then why not just the guys who have shown the potential to be our corner tandem for years to come get the experience they will need to fill that role? It's not like we weren't getting torched when we had Allen in the lineup anyway.

We probably need to make some kind of depth signing at some point, unless of course Jason Allen is going to see some time as the 4th CB. But signing a veteran who is probably not any good now is really not going to benefit us that much.

Jason Allen is going to step up as our Nickle back so unless one of those 4 get hurt it won't do any good because the 5th CB isnt going to play unless it is on ST

Sean Smith and Vontae Davis need the playing time/experience more than they need a "mentor".

The reason these guys are on the market and not on a team is because they are all ridiculously overpaid. Didn't McAllister make like 10 mil last year or something? Bottom line is, if we can't spend money on a receiver, we sure can't spend it on these overpriced geezers.
