Per source that the Chargers are willing to deal their 3rd overall pick. How about this scenario. Tag and trade Vernon to the Chargers and send them our 8th pick and a 3rd rounder for their 3rd overall. We will be able to select Jalen Ramsey DB from FSU. Then with all the money going to Vernon we sign Mario Williams and upgrade our guard position. I do believe San Diego will consider this because they have pass rush help and they want to make one last run with Rivers before he ends his career.

Mario Williams and Ramsey? Sign me up!!!

So the Fins are giving a 1st, 3rd, and OV for the 3rd overall, no thanks.

No!

They are trading #8 and #73 for #3, and OV for Mario Williams. Basically for #73, they will upgrade from OV and lets say Hargreaves to Mario and Ramsey.

Do not like giving up draft picks at all, and would not be happy with a trade up.

If this trade had to happen, I would hope it would be for Bosa.

You want a team with as many as six holes on their starting defense and woeful depth on their offensive line to trade draft picks and a starting defensive end for guy who doesn't even have a defined position? Super Bowl here we come. Absolutely hell no.

Not worth it at all considering that Hargreaves is at level with if not a better *CB prospect than Ramsey. One of them will be there at #8 if DB is our target.

We are in no position to be giving up draft picks with the many holes we have to fill. Terrible idea.

Exactly, I would do it for a lb if one was worthy but we're fine at 8.

I could be entirely wrong, but Jalen Ramsey reminds me too much of Jason Allen.

He is a freakish athlete and jack of all trades -- but could well find himself not squarely fitting into the CB or FS position.

We can't afford that. I want a pure cover corner. We need one. Hargreaves seems to be the dude. The ability to track and trace these WRs is the most valuable skillset you can have at that position. And he has the fluid hips you look for.

No way do we give up a 3rd and OV for the chance to pick someone that is not a sure thing. Stay at 8, and pick at least 2 CBs this year. If not at 8, then in the 2nd and 3rd rounds since there are some compelling players that could slip due to the DL depth this year.

I don't want Mario Williams anywhere near this team. I didn't think he was worth his contract when he went to Buffalo and like him less as a player now.

There are plenty of pass rush options in this draft. Keep the 3rd rounder.

This team has holes at both guard positions, LB, corner, and safety (opposite Jones) with issues at DE on both sides with Vernon and Wake....along with no depth on the O-Line at the other positions, and you want to give up draft picks? Hell no! If anything, we move back and pick up more picks!
