if we do that thats already 5 wins in the bank. just gotta go 5-6 in the other games to get 10 wins.

very important to win the home games against mediocre teams. we did it week 1, gotta do it again this week

I can’t make that assumption because the Bills always turn it up a notch when they play Miami and I think Josh Allen will only get better. If the Dolphins are anywhere close to playoff contention in December then the Bills will do everything they can to play spoiler. And the Jets won’t go down lightly in the rematch. I’m thinking 3-3 in division.

Well, the jets at our house is just a better field and crowd for us. I think we take them again. The Bills are hamstrung with a chance taker in Allen and a poor qb in Peterman. Very possible we take them too.
But onto Oakland. They come East to our house of humidity without their best player from last year.

don't forget the Patriots. lets sweep them too! haha

But seriously, I do think sweeping the Jest & Jills is doable. We already went into the Jets house and got a W, can definitely get the sweep in Miami.

We need to be a boss and go at least 4-2 or 5-1 in the division while giving the pats a dog fight. You can’t really believe in yourself with having the jest or bills beat you this year.

You should never assume you will sweep a division rival. Especially in the case of a team like the Jets, where they appear to be pretty talented, with a fierce defense, and actually played us tough on Sunday. I think there's a good chance that the Jets get revenge on us later in the season.

But the Bills... oh my goodness, that team looks like a disaster. We are very lucky to get to play them twice, and Miami absolutely must make hay on the fact that Buffalo's defense is in disarray, the offense can't score points, and they have a rookie quarterback who is even more raw and in need of development than Sam Darnold.

4 division wins is the benchmark and 5 would be amazing.

@Bengals - win
@Houston on a short week -loss
@Packers - loss
@Colts - win
@Vikings - loss
vs Jags - loss

How many of these can we win? That’s a very hard schedule right there.

I can’t see us winning at Houston on a short week. So that’s one loss. 2-4 is likely out of that schedule.

4-2 in the division.

That’s 6-6, plus Titan’s Win, that’s 7-6.

That leaves:
vs Raiders - would be a monster win this week, as I am going to the Pats game next week :cheers:and that makes that game for 1st place!!!!
vs Bears
vs Lions

All three are winnable, 10-6 is possible.

Absolutely. We got to.

This team can handle the jets in a tempo home setting

WOW!!!!!!!!!!! I'm amazed by such logical, rational posts on a fan forum site. make dolphin great pic.JPG
Ya just never know from week to week. maybe sweep bills. hopefully a sweep but prolly a split with Pats. Our next matchup Nov 4th is a coin toss imo. gotta give you the +3 though for homefield advantage.

I'm glad we're playin the brown & not the raiders this week. Anyone else feel the Pats reign is on the decline?

My son lives in Brickell and I've been to every game in Miami for the last 5 years and never had an issue with anyone even in my jets gear. Just good ole rivalry ballbustin. good luck vs raidahs

I am so tired of the mediocre mentality.

Dolphins NEED to win the division to get a playoff bye week.

This is a win the Super Bowl or bust league - this is NOT the NCAA basketball get to the final 4 league!

Dolphins coach has it right - one game at a time - Miami needs to find a way to stomp one opponent a week and get ME (joe fan) a ****ing championship! Honestly playoffs are nice - but I want a ring!

Easier said than done. I wouldn't surprise me at all as bad as the Bills have been if we split with them and the beating the Jets the 2nd time around is going to be significantly harder.

What's strange to me is that I feel we have an easier time beating the Patriots than we do the Bills/Jets.
