Good post overall, but ya got a lil typo there....You're probably thinking of Kevin Vickerson from Michigan State (he was our 7th, Alabi is an OT drafted in the 5th). You have a good point, tho...Wanny neglected the DT position for years, just leaning on his old workhorse Bowens, and kinda left us in the lurch when he broke down.

Really hate to see him go....looks like he is an old school player. He wants to play for one city his entire career. He doesn't walk away from the game because he wants to...he walks away from the game because he physically can't do it anymore. Damn. Over the past few months i have gained tremendous respect for him. He will go down as one of my all time favorite dolphins.
