T.O selling his championship ring?

I have no problem with that at all. If he doesn't care about it, why should we? I suppose you could suggest that the players and the league should enter into contracts like the Oscar people do with their winners to provide for the return of the awards to the organization instead of letting them hit the open market, but I really don't like that policy. I think that once somebody gives a person an award, they should be the owners of that award and should feel free to sell it.

I agree with you. I just think it is cool that he is donating the money earned from it to Katrina relief.
 
I'm sure he doesn't care about an eagles ring, especially since I don't think he really like the eagles. But it is still a good gesture
 
TO always suprises me. Just when we all wright him off for being a horrible human, he does this great thing, along with being down in the area helping out yesterday. There is something wrong with him but in this case his heart is in the right place.
 
Selfish, big mouth, cry baby..........all describe T.O. But horrible human? He pulled a sharpie outta his sock, he's moaned about his contract, disrupted the team atmosphere but there are worse in the NFL.......domestic violence, drug abuse, assault and battery, steroids, dui's, etc.


Maybe the championship ring doesn't mean anything to him cause it's not a super bowl ring (everyone says that's the only thing that matters in the NFL). Just a thought, but whatever his motive, I agree nice gesture.
