Yeah he's going to be released, that's obvious. The Eagles aren't going to give a 5 million dollar roster bonus to a 33 year old WR coming off a serious ankle injury, plus all the trouble he's given them over the last 6 months. But i hope your not implying Miami should pick Owens up, because thats the LAST thing i'd ever want to do.

To be honest with you, I don't think the Eagles had any intention of paying Owens that 5 million bonus ankle injury or not.

^ I agree, but he signed the contract. the Players Union told him not to sign a contract set up like that, and he did anyway. They knew he'd be cut year 3, but he obviously thought if he could get 1200 yards and 14 TD's they wouldn't cut him, he was wrong, that's the Eagles policy. It's his own fault that he's in this mess, he has no right to cause an uproar, but he will anyway.
