Haha my Dallas friends haven't forgotten him and the incident with the star at the 50 yard line though; they still demand a public apology to the team and its fans for that!

Owens-to-Dallas a done deal?
<Mar. 17> A Lubbock, Texas, television station reported Thursday night that Owens already has agreed to sign with the Cowboys and would do so on Monday, but a source close to Owens told ESPN.com the report is inaccurate. However, sources have confirmed to ESPN.com's Len Pasquarelli that Dallas is one of the teams in negotiations to land Owens, although they say it could take some time to get a deal done.

Dallas is believed to be the most likely destination for the troubled receiver, who was released by the Eagles earlier this week. The Cowboys released WR Keyshawn Johnson the same day, fueling speculation that they were saving cash and clearing a spot for Owens.

Denver, Kansas City, Miami and Tampa Bay also have been mentioned as potential landing spots for Owens. However, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported Thursday that the Dolphins weren't interested in signing T.O.




this could be a bogus report like david givens signing with the browns.
 
Awesome news for us. I was getting scared thinking that we might've aquired him.
 
ESPN News said John Clayton would come on to give the scoop on a potential "false report" but I had to go outside for a second. Anyone catch that segment (obviously about T.O. & Dallas)?

When i heard JT say "NO" to TO then that settled it for me. Nuff said.

I fully agree with you. Even if he isn't going to dallas the only point is I doubt
hes coming here either. if he did though maybe JT would put a sock to em' if
he dared talk back to Saban.:lol:

I was listening to 790 The Ticket when JT was asked about TO. there was a pause but then he let rip and was honest. He said "NO" and he liked what Miami had got going on down here regarding team spirit and the future. That said it all for me. I wasnt opposed to TO but im a bigger JT fan than TO's.
 
At least he wont be our problem here.
It is kind of ironic though that he is signing with Dallas after the whole star thing. BTW who was it that drilled Owens on the star? I forget.
