T Owens out for preseason

No he's not. It's just uncertain weather or not he will play in the pre-season opener. Misleading thread title bro.
 
um, he is. the cowboys held a press conference at 2:30 stating that he's not going to play this preseason.
 
we have a link? all I have heard is that he is out the first week, haven't heard the whole pre-season
 
Parcells scolds media about T.O. injury

Bill Parcells said Tuesday he has no problem with Terrell Owens bringing in his own experts to help repair his ailing hamstring.

The Dallas Cowboys coach does have a problem with all the attention the injury is generating.

With T.O.-related questions again dominating his daily gathering with reporters, Parcells tried getting off the subject by saying: “I’m getting the sense that most of the media is just waiting for something to be controversial in that regard. And I’m here to tell you, it’s not going to happen from me. So you need to get that in your head. OK?â€Â

When the topic was broached again later, Parcells warned not to try interpreting his mood on this subject.

“The situation is the same as I told you the other day,†he said. “We are hopeful we can get the work in and get him into the program and up to speed with what we do as soon as possible. It hasn’t changed. I said it yesterday. I said it today. I said it the first day. It’s not going to change.â€Â

Since taking part in the first eight workouts of training camp, Owens has been on the sidelines for the last eight, including a scrimmage. Plenty more absences are likely since Owens said Monday he doubts that he will play in the preseason opener Saturday night in Seattle.

The pain began last Wednesday. An MRI taken Saturday showed no problems. He’s repeatedly said his status is day-to-day, spending most of each practice slowly riding a stationary bicycle. He declined to comment after practice Tuesday.

:link: Something like that would be all over sports center I would think, and it wasn't on there once. I watched the whole 90 minute addition at 6 ET today and not once did they say that. Do you have a link?

This couldn't have happened to a more classy individual. The guy has scorched 2 locker rooms. I do wonder how long it will take for him to scorch this one.
 
no link yet so this is obviously not true, he will miss the first game but thats it until we hear further

I saw the same thing on NFL Network.

The issue is this. TO has his OWN therapists helphing him recover from his injury...they are advising him to not play.
This has to chap Parcell's hide like something crazy because of course he wants the team therapists to be the only people telling him one of his players are unable to perform.

Parcells isn't going to tell the media how pissed he is at TO because I think Jerry Jones has muffled him on the issue.
 
one down... now we need to hear he is out for reg. season too. what a jerk.
