T Pain's New Miami Dolphins Song!

Thanks, JLFins. Listening to that, it's almost more hokey than the original. T-Pain probably spent 10 minutes making it. At least I hope he did.

Ehhhhh....lol. I really don't know what to think of this. Thanks for posting this, though. I mean, I'm not big on rappers but T-Pain is one of the few who I can tolerate in small doses but this...eh. I don't know what to make of it lol. Our fight song wasn't the greatest before this but I'm not sure if this is the spin we needed haha.

Regardless of how long T-Pain spent on it, its a new version of our fight song. We need a new version because OUR WHOLE TEAM IS A NEW VERSION! :woot: No other artists gave a sh*t enough to make us a song, unless you call that disaster our co-owner jimmy buffett put together a song. The T-pain song isn't the greatest but it is going to make a great ringtone!!!! Damn, I am so pumped for this season after seeing the 08 yearbook today! :kingcrowder::kingcrowder::kingcrowder::kingcrowder::kingcrowder:

I don't mind Pitbull at all. The only problem with Pitbull is I don't want a Dolphins fight song that is in spanish. I think we are going to have enough of that this season between all of the latin co-owners (Estefans, Marc Anthony, J-Lo) and the South beach image Ross is trying to push. I don't have anything against spanish people, I just think our fight song should be in english and the songs played at our stadium should be in english as well. A couple salsa songs or whatever during the game I don't mind, but overdoing it wouldn't be a good thing.
 
We need some Spanish I think. It doesn't have to be entirely in Spanish but it's part of the South Florida culture. It is what it is. It's one of the things I miss the most about the Orange Bowl and Little Havana. The Cuban vendors that didn't speak a lick of English and the "Spanglish" that I speak trying to order something lol. Great times. I miss it so much.

We need a spanish fight song? I disagree. I understand that a lot of spanish people live in south florida but I don't recall it having anything to do with the Dolphins. Playing spanish music at the stadium isn't bad, most of the songs are catchy. But to make a dolphins song partially/totally in spanish is unnecessary. Miami is spanish oriented and I respect the culture, but I personally believe there is currently enough in Miami. I wouldn't support that for any NFL team, this is America. People who have lived here their whole lives who are proud of our country & enjoy our team should be given the opportunity to enjoy it in our language. If we are going to change our fight song to spanish its just a matter of time before we turn the signs, logos, and everything else to spanish. At that point we might as well move the team to Cuba. Like I said, I could care less when they play songs that are in spanish because we are in Miami. I just think they should be careful with it because it could easily go too far.
 
It doesn't have to ALL be in Spanish lol. I never said that. But even if just a bit of it was wasn't hurt. And Pitbull is notorious for just spitting random Spanish bits here and there. That'd be fine if he went that route.
 
The Giants/Jets play football in New Jersey but Dean Martin didn't write them a fight song with the Tarantella in the background. As an Italian-American I wouldn't approve of that if he did such a thing. I am italian but I am an American first. But hey, thats just me. You are entitled to your opinion.
 
Nah I get it...Miami is just...different. I dunno. More different than any other city I've ever been in. It's almost like being in a different country. Miami is more about the culture than any other city out there. I'm not saying Pitbull should do it although I think I would have went to him before T-Pain lol. But in all honesty it's difficult to take the current fight song and make it something great lol. I mean, banjos don't say Miami at all lol.
