Tackling, and 3rd down.

I've seen a lot of missed tackles the last few weeks, first contact almost never beings down the ball carrier. The majority of it, from what I've seen, is Wheeler.

Why can't we get stops on third and long??? So frustrating.

The run where they made that guy look like Barry Sanders was just a disgrace by the defense. Should have never happened. Overall the Defense played hard, make some big plays and won the game.

The missed tackling late in games which is when it rears its ugliest moments, is a result of guys being tired. When a defense is on the field for 13 minutes in the 3d quarter it takes a toll. It makes it that much more impressive that the defense found a way to win this at the end.

As worryingly, we can't we ever seem to convert a 3rd and short on offence?

Me and my dad were watching the game and joking that we would rather see the opposing team with a 3rd and 5 or less, because our percentage of stopping those is lights out when compared to 3rd and 8 or more. It's ludicrous, and the lack of tackling on first contact (especially when it's behind the LOS) is disgusting. We end up looking like pop warner players while they shine like all pros. If I had to nitpick after this awesome win, those would be my only gripes. We have to start wrapping up on EVERY tackle and stop playing so soft on 3rd and long. Go Fins, Great Win Today!!

Great win but the two negatives are third and short(let Tanne sneak it) and giving up third and long.
