Tailgating questions from out-of-Towner - advice appreciated!

Hello,

My group will be traveling south and attending our first ever Dolphins game on November 5th (Sunday night game). I want to get the best possible experience and have a few questions about tailgating:

1. Can we park our rental car at the lot overnight and retrieve it in the morning? We don't want to drive home after the game as we all plan to drink a lot. If this is not possible, what are our alternatives for avoiding driving home after the game?

2. We want to arrive at the beggining of tailgate festivities. Where exactly should we park for the best experience?

3. What should we bring with us? We will have access to anything and want to go all out to get the best experience. That being said, if something is more hassle than it's worth, we won't bring it.

Any other tips you can offer are most appreciated. Thanks in advance for any and all replies!

You could take Uber to the game. Dolphins have a Uber tailgate area.

Thanks for the replies all. I am still wondering if anyone can definitively say whether or not a car can be left overnight and retrieved the next day without getting a ticket.

Also, for the uber area, can we still bring grills and such and have an area to set up?

I can't say definitively or not but I would guess absolutely not. It is private property and your car will probably get towed.

Thank you for that clarification. In that case, we will stick with uber. Will there still be an area to set up our own (cheap disposable) grill, styrofoam cooler, etc?
 
Only advice I can give you is to sell the tickets if you can, no sense in wasting all that money for nothing. The team blows this year, take your wife out to a fancy dinner instead.
