actually I take that back Bowles does have head coach experience fr being interim for a few weeks. Easy choice amongst the other 2 mystery guys

Easy choice if you say. Hiring Bowles would be basically saying to fans i love the path we are on lets do a few more years of it. So more mediocrity

I'd rather a young hungry coach like McCoy, who's worked with a few of our players already and knows our QB and WR. And draft Tannehill to groom. And shoot if we lose out next yr, there's Barkley to look forward too.

Mccoy knows our qb and prob was part of the group that said lets go with clauson
 
I knew I shouldn't have checked this site while on vacation. Philbin probably annoys me the least.

Which also means we'd be stuck with a very good back up/transitional starter as our permanent starter. Awesome...

:lol: Jeez, we haven't even given them a game...a month...a season to coach and already we're comparing them to the worst of worsts! Such is the way of FH I guess. :ponder:
 
It's obviously easy to talk about how unimpressive this list is and what not (and I know I'm guilty of thinking the same) but it's just one of those things where we will not know if we made a good or bad choice until at least a year in.
 
Mccoy, adaptability is key in an NFL that changes year to year, week to week, half to half...

Or to some at least 10 years.
 
The BEST scenario for us right now from what's available :

hire Philbin. Get him to bring Flynn from the Packers.

Keep all our draft picks and continue building an OFFENSE. 2nd round TIGHT END!
