Tala Esera earning a spot on the Line.

Undrafted rookie Tala Esera could be in the mix, but it's unlikely that offensive line coach Hudson Houck would dare put three rookies (second-round pick center Samson Satele and Mormino) on the starting line. Houck is a firm believer in teaching his linemen more than one position.

What I get from this article is that even if he doesnt start he might earn a spot on the line. I think he has all the chances in the World. Since the OTA's I have seen this kid at T,RG and now LG. He has always been with the second unit and it shows that he has versatility to play different positions.

This alone should be enough to have Tala make the team
 
I'm hoping they all make it! And if they do, I hope the team let's them do the maka (? the polynesian war dance) before each home game. Even John Beck at BYU was doing it with the rest of his team before the Utah game. Imagine those 4, Beck and the rest of the Phins doing that before the New England home game....what a sight!

You mean those 5. We signed Soi last week.
 
Tala has been impressing alot, he was mentioned again in the Miami Dolphins website. I think Tala will backup Liweinski or Hadnot.....
 
It's Haka (not maka), and yea, Tala led it here at UH. Also we have six Samoans as Steve fifita is one as well. Love being able to wear my Dolphins gear here in Hawaii and get alot of locals compliments. The Samoans love me here.
 
Tala seems to have some nice versatility and that will certainly help him stick.

I'll be going to Hawaii for the first time this December. I think its cool that the Dolphins are gonna get some love there. Then I can be obnoxious at the sports bar lol! I wonder how many of them will stick. Fifita may have trouble and Soi. Don' think Reagan is a lock either...

I have to root for him!! My wife had his little girl in Preschool last year. My daughter is also friends with his sister.

He played LT last year for UH - Real nice guy but can get nasty. He was kicked in the balls twice in a row by a DE fron San diego State because they were getting whooped. I thought Satele was going to rip the DE head off.
