Tale from the Stats - Arizona
http://scores.espn.go.com/nfl/boxscore?gameId=280914022
Offense:
25% 3rd down efficiency
Pennington - 67.1 QB rating
24 rushes - 72 yds
Ginn - 1 rec, 9 yds
Fasano - 0 rec, 0 yds
Conclusion - that's an offense that's not going to score many points.

Bright notes:
Hagan(3 for 51), Camarillo (4 for 49), Martin (3 for 32)

David Martin looks like a new man this year, and not the crappy TE we had last year.

Defense:
Warner - 361 yds, 3 tds, 158.3 rating(perfect)
Fitzgerald - Long 75 yd catch
Boldin - Long 79 yd catch
Conclusion - the secondary had a bad day.

Bright notes:
31 rushes - 81 yds (2.6 yds/run)
Starks and Langford each got a sack
Crowder had a nice game (8 tkls)

********
My Notes:
If it weren't for the 155 yds in 2 catches, our defensive stats would be ok. Of course the 54% 3rd down efficiency by Arizona, wasn't good by our defense, as well.

Basically the d-line was the bright spot of the whole team. Last year our d-line was ranked 31st in the league, this year it's a top-10 d-line.

Our secondary still stinks, and will be more exposed this year since teams can't run on us. Our Yards Per Attempt by our corners last year was dreadful. This game was no better.

Our offense still isn't scoring enough points (21+). Without Mauia and Donald Thomas, our running game seems to have dried up.
