We did have a chance at Big Ben

Houston offered us the 10th overall pick for O-gun. Not good enough since Rick wanted a 1st and a 3rd.

Then we could have still traded up to pick up Big Ben but we had already spent a 2nd on Feeley.

We most certainly had a chance at Big Ben and I for on on draft day was hoping O-gun would still get shopped over to Houston and we would get their pick to pick this guy up.

Houston never offered us the 10th overall pick, we would have taken that any day of the week.

Pittsburgh: Round 1, Pick 11
Miami: Round 1, Pick 15

Mabye thats why?
Or mabye because Rick Speilman and Dave Wannstedt fail at drafting?

actually, our first pick in the 2004 draft was 20th. we traded up to the 19th, but still no where near 11th.

hey Gryph. not saying this wasn't at all possible, but what role would ogunleye have served in a 3-4? seems peculiar that houston would want a 4-3 DE.
