Grier ain't going anywhere
If this season is a complete failure then I think he will be gone with mcdaniel as they should be.
Grier ain't going anywhere
Exactly. We've seen Ross sign coaches to extensions early in one season and then fire them by the end of the same season. Nothing is guaranteed, but he can't go all in for one season because if he ruins the roster 2 - 3 years from now, he'll be canned then. You think Ross would want him operating like he only has this year? He can still get fired after this season. Grier is just making moves like he normally would. I wouldn't expect to see panic, that's not how they did free agency either.
I don’t know about laughing stock, but I have lost confidence. Of course he does not need me on his side but I sure would like to see our/his first two picks not just start but excel and later picks surprise and start or contribute big minutes. No more Tindalls, Iggys, trade ups for Erich’s, etc.Grier will be fired after this year. He's the laughing stock of all GM,s for years now.
Which would be sad for fans who want to see the Dolphins contend at some point.Grier ain't going anywhere
Looking like a 3rd place team in 2025. Hey if some are happy with that then more power to them. I would love to see the team seriously contend before I am pushing up daisies.A GM's team that went to the playoffs 2 years in a row shouldn't have been let in the facilities? Weird take.
Super Bowl contenders don't get smacked around by pretty much every decent team they face.If we’re being fair, Grier had us setup for a Super Bowl run in 2023. He did his job and followed the philosophy of the coach. We re tool this year, hopefully don’t suck too bad, and build up for another run, with some trenches this time.
A+ is a bit of a reach tbh!We should be thankful Grier hasn’t sacrificed our financial future in order to save his job. I think this is an A+ draft and we’re set up nicely for next off season.
Well then you could say going into THIS year...but to say the last 2 years after his team had made the playoffs before is ridiculously stupid.Looking like a 3rd place team in 2025. Hey if some are happy with that then more power to them. I would love to see the team seriously contend before I am pushing up daisies.
He can feel that way..but he's just another bad season away from getting canned.A guy who thinks his job is on the line doesn't plan for the future. Him deferring picks next year means he feels safe in his job
In 2023 they crapped away the division lead. Choked at home to the Bills in week 18. Then were a no show the following week in Kansas City.Well then you could say going into THIS year...but to say the last 2 years after his team had made the playoffs before is ridiculously stupid.
I am still of the belief, that he is done after this year no matter what. There was rumors that he was going to retire last year and Ross was going to just give him a cushy retirement position (basically no real responsibility). Maybe why the guy from Vegas was brought in, as he may be a candidate to replace Grier next year. I think McDaniel will be on the hot seat if things go wrong.Chris Grier must be GM for Life. Passing up so many good players for a 3rd round pick next year. I mean; well like that move next year, I’m just sayin, there were some nice players available there.
We addressed our main issue, which is toughness/physicality. We also tackled positional needs and grabbed a future 3rd. I think this was Griers best draft. A+A+ is a bit of a reach tbh!
A solid B is fair I would say.
Stop whiningChris Grier must be GM for Life. Passing up so many good players for a 3rd round pick next year. I mean; well like that move next year, I’m just sayin, there were some nice players available there.
Please send me the evidence so I can laugh tooYeah ok…well when you have the laughingstock of owners I wouldn’t count on that. Grier should’ve never been let in the facilities the last 2 years, but here we are .
