A week ago on this board, it was all "how about the great job so'n'so is doing", "I smell PLAYOFFS",
"Nobody expected how good we are"...

This week, "oh, Chambers is declining", "Boston is done", "Gus isn't cutting it, give Sage a turn", "welcome to last season"...

We are either King of The Hill, or in The Pit of Dispair. Isn't there a middle ground? The veterans are doing a great job, but the newer guys seem to get the jitters on the road and make stupid mistakes that will go away with experience.

Come on, JUST LOVE YOUR FINS!! (and stay on your medication if needed for now) :goof:

Here, here.

-- Originated in the British parliament in the 18th century as a contraction of 'hear him, hear him'. It is still often heard there although sometimes used ironically these days

I for one love my Dolphins.... not all of us are that hot and cold by the way.

I hear ya....eats me up too....although I wonder if they're the same fans. You know? Maybe the optimists come out with a win, and the pessimists come out with a loss, and when it's vice-versa, they stay in the woodwork. Maybe?

great post.

I agree 100% and that has been the only thing that sometimes makes me regret being a fan. I hate having to remind people that they are fin fans and should support the team in all facets.

I support the team, celebrating the wins and bleeding the losses. As a fan I'll always support the team and the players...but from time I'll do a little good natured bitching.

Boston came in cheap anyways and besides, like I've stated before , I'd be more worried about Booker than Boston. Only the wishful thinkers were the ones hoping Boston could be what he once was without the roids.

GUs isn't gonna get you to the promise land but he's done one hell of a job until your future comes in. I didn't think he'd be as good as he's been.

As for the "Chambers is declining" , guess who started that thread?

Man, I hate to say this, but a lot of the Dolphins fans just flat out SUCK!!! Just look at the empty seats in the stadium on Sundays.......... and why are they so empty???? Because we had a bad year and their aren't enough true fans that want to watch their favorite team whether they win or lose, and also because a lot of the fans think the phins suck just because of last year, and now because of 2 measley losses this year. If I was a player for the phins I would be hoping that the owner would either sell the team or move us the hell out of south Florida. At least then the fans would have a reason to think negetively about the team!!!

That's FinHeaven for ya sir. Well, some of these guys anyway. I said 9-7 at the beginning of the year, and damnit, I shall stick by it :yell:

I love my Miami Dolphins.

It's (most of) the fans I can't stand.

That's why alot of us get bad raps. Some of them just don't get it I guess. 'm kind of done beating that subject to death.

great post,.... i agree 100%

Actually, i've been pleasantly suprised by this season so far. I expected a 6-10 season with a possible 8-8 being a reach.

While I still see problems with the team and no one except for the homers would expect all the problems to go away this year. ( the 12-4 and better, SB predictions come to mind).

Some really encouraging signs of improvement, being down against Buffalo 17-0 and almost coming back to win despite making a record number of penalties and some key turnovers. The fish were never really out of that game until Ronnie's last turnover.

The last few years, once the team was down by 10 or more, you could almost watch them fold it up and just put in time until the game ended.

My benchmark for the season was .500 with noticeable improvement, especially in the coaching/administrative/personnel areas. So far, right on target!
