Harvey Fialkov, of the Sun-Sentinel, reports contract talks between the Miami Dolphins and rookie DL Matt Roth are progressing. He was the team's second-round pick in the April NFL draft. The two sides are discussing a four- or five-year deal.


Hopefully we can sign him before the first practice on Monday.

I'm happy that we are starting so early, maybe it's because of the hall of fame game but i have noticed most of the NFL isn't starting until mid-week. Personally i am foaming at the mouth for Dolphins football and the earlier the better for me.

Roth is the s@#t. I hope we can see him in camp. I hope he is a starter come November when I come down to see the Fish vs the Patsies! I promised my gf I would buy her a Roth jersey if he was in the game.
